EasyRedmine settings at project level
Open the project editing and if EasyRedmine is enabled at the account level (see the task), there is also be an option to set EasyRedmine.
Click + or gear on the table row to open the EasyRedmine settings form.
There is:
- Option whether this is allowed or not
- Project ID - on EasyRedmine so that tasks can be synchronized and it is clear where (you can find it by hovering over the project tree)
- Website URL where the customer has his EasyRedmine installation
API key - let each developer (including the project manager) set the role in the project individually in its editing
Why does each developer set the API key individually? Thus, it requires EasyRedmine to be able to identify the author of the edit being made.
Individual API key settings
In the project, in the Team Members section of the table row, click the gear next to the developer and select Edit.
This will open the developer's Basic Information settings form for this project.
Enter here the API key that the developer loaded in the settings of his account at EasyRedmine.
Here's how to find it at EasyRedmine!
- In the upper right corner, click on the hamburger menu
- The side menu opens
- Look all the way down !!!
- Find my account
- Click
- Can't you see anything? You are not alone: D ... somewhere around the upper right corner will appear icon for editing your profile "Edit profile"
- Finally, at the bottom of the page, you will find the API key
so this way you can easily find your API key on EasyRedmine - that's why it has "Easy" in the name - it makes sense
