How to create a recurring task
A recurring task is actually a common task, which you set to recurrence.
Note, however, you will only see the recurrence settings if you create the task as a sub-task in the story collection or infinite task. com / hints / 3075? language = cs).
Periodic tasks are repeated only on working days according to the assigned user and his country setting in user parameter settings. The default value for the country is Czechia.
The system schedules when to create another task according to the set recurrence, taking into account working days and holidays. Therefore, if the task is to be repeated weekly on a Monday and the following Monday is a holiday, the task will be created on the next possible working day - in this case on Tuesday. The next task would then be created again on Monday (assuming it is not a holiday again).
This works similarly for monthly recurrences - for example, if you set a recurrence to the 31st of the month, the nearest working day of that month is found (not every month has 31 days).
The repeat setting options are as follows:
Repeat sets or turns off task repetition.
- Do not repeat - the task will not be repeated; if it has been set to repeat, it will stop repeating
- Weekly - the task will be repeated once a week on the specified day
- Once every other week - the task will be repeated once every two weeks on the specified day
- Monthly - the task will be repeated once a month on the specified day
Repeat on (hidden if "Do Not Repeat" is selected)
- selection Monday to Friday - if it is selected to repeat "Weekly" or "Once every 2 weeks"
- selection 1. - 31. if "Monthly" is selected to be repeated
Set expected due date for today
When this option is checked, the task will be created with the due date set to the task creation date. The next task will be created in due time according to the set recurrence.
Examples:
I am creating a new task on Tuesday, the assigned worker has the country set to Czechia
Repeat: "Weekly"
Repeat in: "Monday"
Checked "Set expected fulfillment date for today"The first task will be created immediately with the due date on the same day it was created (the date will be displayed after the task name). The following tasks will already be created every Monday (with a due date on the given). If there is a holiday on a given Monday, the task will be created on the next working day.
I am creating a new task on Tuesday, the assigned worker has the country set to Czechia
Repeat: "Weekly"
Repeat in: "Monday"
No checked "Set expected fulfillment date for today"The first task will be created immediately, but the due date will be set to next Monday. The following tasks will be created every Monday (with a due date on the given). If there is a holiday on a given Monday, the task will be created on the next working day.
